โครงการบรรยายพิเศษหัวข้อ Mathematical Methods for Energy-Efficient Train Control

ภาควิชาคณิตศาสตร์ คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี (KMUTT) ได้จัดโครงการบรรยายพิเศษหัวข้อ “Mathematical Methods for Energy-Efficient Train Control” ระหว่างวันที่ 16–17 มีนาคม 2569 โดยได้รับเกียรติจากวิทยากรผู้เชี่ยวชาญระดับนานาชาติ ได้แก่ Prof. Hans Georg Bock และ Prof. Andreas Sommer จาก Interdisciplinary Center for Scientific Computing (IWR), Heidelberg University ประเทศเยอรมนี ภายในงานมีการบรรยายและแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้เกี่ยวกับแบบจำลองเชิงคณิตศาสตร์และเทคนิคการควบคุมหัวรถจักรเพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการใช้พลังงาน โดยกิจกรรมครั้งนี้ได้รับการสนับสนุนงบประมาณจากโครงการวิจัย “โปรไฟล์การประหยัดพลังงานสำหรับควบคุมหัวรถจักรดีเซลไฟฟ้าสายตะวันออก ICD ลาดกระบัง – ท่าเรือแหลมฉบัง” ภายใต้การดำเนินงานของหัวหน้าโครงการ ดร.ปรินทร์ ไชยปัญญา ทั้งยังเป็นการเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างประเทศ และยกระดับศักยภาพด้านการวิจัยและนวัตกรรมของประเทศไทยในสาขาการขนส่งและพลังงานอย่างยั่งยืนอีกด้วย

The Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), organized a special lecture series entitled “Mathematical Methods for Energy-Efficient Train Control” during March 16–17, 2026. The event was honored by the participation of distinguished international experts, Prof. Hans Georg Bock and Prof. Andreas Sommer from the Interdisciplinary Center for Scientific Computing (IWR), Heidelberg University, Germany. The program featured lectures and knowledge exchange on mathematical modeling and control techniques for improving energy efficiency in locomotive operations. This activity was financially supported by the research project “An energy-efficient control profile for diesel-electric locomotives on the track connecting Lat Krabang ICD to Laem Chabang port” led by Dr. Parin Chaipunya. The event also contributed to strengthening international academic collaboration and enhancing Thailand’s research and innovation capabilities in sustainable transportation and energy.
